Artemide Stablight B Suspension in blown glass 1 x GU10 Ø 10 cm

The Stab family of lamps is manufactured using traditional Bohemian technology. It is blown glass in manually carved wooden moulds. The glass masters use the blower as the main tool, blowing different layers of glass in different colors and with their hands they give the product a shape similar to that of the mould. Finally, the incandescent preform is inserted into the mold and finished, giving it its final shape. Stablight lenses are then finished by cutting and polishing. This production process demonstrates the extraordinary know-how of the glass masters who hand down their experience from generation to generation.
