Since the Second World War, the V-2 rocket has become an icon of the 1950s, a symbol of futuristic technology and the American space program. He has also become an icon for children, the illustrator Hergé was inspired by cutting-edge technology and the iconic shape of the V-2 in depicting the rocket that brought Tin Tin to the moon. The name of V-2 Schneider comes from a 1977 piece by David Bowie, who named him in tribute to one of the co-founders of Kraftwerk, a group that had a great influence on his music. The rocket is a familiar form reminiscent of the lava lamp, it is the model of a comic book rocket revisited in a modern key. This aerodynamic rocket is part of the historical memory of the post-war generation.
