The Spokes suspension lamp is inspired by the suggestions derived from ancient Oriental lanterns to the most domestic aviaries. The realization comes from observing the rays of a bicycle wheel, from which the project also takes the name that in English means rays. This results in a soft-light bulb and light volume that contains light, allowing it to filter in space. The lightness that distinguishes the design combines the solidity of the shape, made of metal rod, and the functionality of the LED light source, which allows both to perfectly illuminate the plane and to obtain light and shadow games, projected on the walls with a Magical multiplication effect. The design of the project in two shapes, two sizes and two different color variations emphasizes its versatility, making Spokes particularly suitable for both residential and public spaces, finding perfect location in large architectural volumes thanks to the possibility of multiple compositions.
